こんにちは。大阪お笑い塾の講師の高田豪です。
先日、ある会場でお笑い塾の塾生さんが出張ライブをやらせていただく機会をいただきました。
会場が変わると客層も変わります。
いつもと異なる環境で、ネタを発表することは刺激を受けますし、必ず学びがあります。
今回の出張ライブは、大阪お笑い塾のサブ講師・高橋さんが企画、構成、立案をすべて手掛けてくれました。
お笑い塾では二ヵ月に一度、玉造の「ライブ喫茶亀」で主催ライブを開催しておりますが、今年は定期ライブ以外の催しも増えそうです。
定期ライブ以外の外部ライブでも、ぜひ経験を積んでいただけると嬉しいです。
芥子壺さんの快挙！！
まずは嬉しいお知らせから、まいりましょう。
昨年、第1回大会が開催された吉本興業が主催するお笑いコンクール「UNDER5 AWARD（アンダーファイブ・アワード）」。
お笑い塾に在籍されている芥子壺さんが、見事一回戦を突破されました。
授業前にたくさんの「おめでとう！」の声をもらった芥子壺さん。
お笑い塾で最も多くライブに出ているのは、芥子壺さんです。
弛まぬ積み重ねが実を結びました！
改めまして芥子壺さん、おめでとうございます！！
愛着のある地域の魅力を語ろう！
春は見学者の方が増えるシーズン。本日も2名の方が、見学に来てくださいました。
大阪以外から来られた方もおられました。
毎回ではないですが、愛知県からお笑い塾の講義を受けに来られる方もいらっしゃいます。「遠方であっても、お笑いスキルを学びたい！」という情熱に頭が下がる思いです。
さて本日のワークは「愛着のある地域の魅力を3つ語る」というものでした。
特に印象深かった方をピックアップいたしましょう。
鉄道芸人のしろみずさんは、地元福岡の魅力を熱弁。
ひとくくりにされがちな福岡ですが、地元の方からするとその中でも地域が区分けされているそうです。
興味深かったのが方言の分析でした。山口県寄りの地域は、言葉の影響を受けており純粋な福岡弁ではない場所もあるのだとか。
こういった情報は、地元の方でないとなかなか知り得ません。「興味深い」「面白い！」という声もあり、みなさんの好奇心を刺激することに成功したしろみずさんでした。
現在は大阪在住の犬飼さんですが、かつて東京の千石に住んでおられたそうです。
我々、関西人は東京の地域性についてそれほど詳しくない人も少なくありません。
10年以上、東京に住んでいた犬飼さんならではの視点で「この地域は住みやすい」など具体例を挙げつつ、わかりやすく語ってくれました。
千石から徒歩圏内の巣鴨についても触れていた犬飼さん。みんな彼女の説明に釘付け状態。やはり知らない土地というのは興味を引きますね。
シアリスの塚田さんは、地元にある古墳の魅力を語ってくれました。
塚田さんが他に魅力のひとつとして挙げておられた「アクセスの良さ」。利便性というのはそこに住んでいる人からすると、かなり重要でしょう。
この「アクセスの良さ」というのは、塚田さん以外の方も挙げておられましたが、外せない要素といえそうです。
極楽さんは、大阪の住吉区に長らく住まれていました。
あまりに住み心地がよくて、なかなか地元を離れる気にならなかったそうです。
住吉区には大阪を代表する大きな公園があるのですが、広大な公園の素晴らしさを語ってくれた極楽さん。
極楽さん以外の方も「自然との触れあい」を魅力として挙げておられましたが、都会に住む人は定期的に自然の中に身を置くことでリフレッシュできるようですね。
お笑い塾では最年少のフッキ―は、ここ数年住んでいる大阪のある地域の魅力を語ってくれました。
「魅力を3つ挙げる」というワークなのですが、この3つというところに着目し、3つ目でオチをしっかりつけたところがさすがですね。
「長所ばかりではなく、短所も挙げないのはアンフェア」と語るフッキ―。
ある塾生さんがフッキーの発表を聞いたあと「実は自分も近くに住んでいるんです」と伝えておられました。
こうした発表によって、普段は知らないその人の情報が知れますので、自然と距離感が縮まります。
その人のバックグラウンドから作れるネタとキャラ
なぜ愛着のある地域を語っていただいたのかといえば、バックグランドを語っていただきたかったからです。
演者を構成しているものは
- 生まれ育ち
- 家族
- 先天的な性格
など、さまざまあります。
そこからひとつの要素をピックアップしてデフォルメすることで、ネタに活用することが可能。
反対に、自分にない要素を無理やり入れるとネタが浮いてしまい、妙な違和感が出てしまいます。
演者はその人が持つ背景と、一致していることが理想といえるかもしれません。
活躍している方を例に挙げさせていただくと、千鳥のおふたりからはすぐ地元の岡山を連想できます。
大悟さんは、人口1,000人ほどの北木島出身で、野性味あふれるキャラクター。
漫才も岡山弁でやられていますね。
地域性は、その場所で育った人からすると当たり前に思えるものなのですが「客観的に見るとそこが魅力」ということも多々あります。
今回の発表でいえば、しろみずさんの福岡を掘り下げたネタは笑いだけでなく「なるほど！」がたくさん詰まっており、十分ひとつのネタとして発表できるクオリティがありました。
お笑い塾の塾生さんは、まだまだ面白いところをたくさん隠し持っていそうですので（笑）、またこういったその人の背景と魅力が伝わるワークをぜひ企画したいと考えています。
ネタ見せ
大阪お笑い塾では、二ヵ月に一度の主催ライブに向けたネタ作りをしていただいております。
毎回、授業の最後はネタ見せの時間。
本日、披露されたネタを見ていきましょう。
此花六丁目さんは、5/4のライブに向けたコントを発表。
ヤンママが運転する自転車でチリンチリンを鳴らされた怒りをもとに、タイムリープして「どこまでさかのぼれば、むかつかないか？」を検証するという斬新なネタでした。
「飛躍が早く現実からのずらし方も大きいため、ついていけないお客さんがいるかもしれない」という指摘がありました。
笑いには起伏が必要なものの、あるあるの状況からどうあるなし、なしなしにジャンプしていくのには段階を踏む必要があります。
マニアックな着眼点と、そこはかとなく漂うおかしみは此花六丁目さんならではのものがありますので「なぜ、そう展開していくのか？」という理由があると、見やすさアップするでしょう。
勢いに乗る芥子壺さんは、「UNDER5 AWARD」の2回戦に向けたハリセンマシーンのネタを発表してくれました。
途中でハリセンマシーンの価格発表をする下りがあります。そこをもう一工夫することで「さらに笑いをひとつ狙えそう」という意見も。
枠組みがしっかりしているネタですので、その枠組みの中で何が常識で、何が非常識かを突き詰めると、まだボケを足せそうな感じがいたしました。
しろみずさんは、以前披露してくださった貨物列車のネタの短縮バージョン。
2分半ほどでしたので「ボケを足して、3分ほどのネタにしてもいいのでは？」という意見が出ました。
お笑い用語のボケという言葉の起源は「とぼけ」という説があります。しろみずさんは、狙わずして「とぼけ」を出せる逸材ですので、ネタに入る前の枕詞や、ぼそりとつぶやく何気ない言葉でもさらなる笑いを狙えそうですね。
こちらは「ケンとフッキー」のコント。
5/4のライブに向けたネタで、今回が初披露でした。
ネタは「誰がどの役を担当するのか？」が重要です。現時点では何が正解かわからないものの「ポジションを入れ替えてみるのもひとつの選択」という意見が出ました。
ネタ見せでやるのと、本番お客様の前で実演するのとではいろいろ変わりますので、重要なのは作り手の「これを見せたい！」という思いやテーマ。そこさえ固まれば、いろいろ具体的になってきそうですね。
フッキ―はこれが初めて作ったコントになりますので、覚えることだらけで大変かもしれません。しかし、こうして「ネタを作って人前でやってみて意見をもらう」という地道な繰り返しが今は重要な時期。
次回はまたガラッと変わる箇所がありそうですが、どういった改善があるか楽しみですね。
最後は、安定感抜群のたかたかやまの漫才。
前回、5分ほどあったネタを1分以上短縮しました。
野球をテーマにした楽しい掛け合いが繰り広げられます。テンポもよくボケがわかりやすいのが特徴です。
4月に入り毎日ペナントレースが始まりましたので、5/4のライブで発表する際は、そのとき旬な野球ネタを足すというのもありかもですね。
さて、次回のお笑い塾は4/27（土）14時から開講します。
ライブ前の最後のネタ見せもございますので、みなさん気合満点で参加されることでしょう。
